Good Turkish breakfast with delicious sucuk and egg. It was around 11 pound. However, I wouldn’t recommend it if it’s your first time trying a Turkish breakfast, as this isn’t the traditional way it’s usually served. A proper Turkish breakfast normally comes as a large spread with many different items. That said, the food was tasty, the staff were friendly, and the service was fast.

Popped into The Shepherdess recently and was amazed to find it still going strong.

I first came here back in 1999 and remember having a great meal then. Fast forward 26 years and I’m pleased to report the food is still excellent, which is more than can be said for some of my joints.

The atmosphere was just as welcoming as I remembered and it was nice to revisit a place that has clearly stood the test of time.

Not many places can serve you a great meal nearly three decades apart and get it right both times.

I’ll try not to leave it another 26 years before my next visit.

Bwaaaah.

Nice little cafe, we went for breakfast Today, very friendly staff. Tasty food, reasonable price. Outdoor seats looked lovely in the sun! Exactly what we were looking for this morning.

I found this place quite nice overall. The food was tasty and well-prepared, though it was a bit frustrating that my order was initially forgotten, and I had to remind them about 2-3 times. Still, once it arrived, it was enjoyable though would've preferred not to eat alone.
